Product Description Legions of readers entranced by Twilight are hungry for more and they won't be disappointed. In New Moon, Stephenie Meyer delivers another irresistible combination of romance and suspense with a supernatural twist. The "star-crossed" lovers theme continues as Bella and Edward find themselves facing new obstacles, including a devastating separation, the mysterious appearance of dangerous wolves roaming the forest in Forks, a terrifying threat of revenge from a female vampire and a deliciously sinister encounter with Italy's reigning royal family of vampires, the Volturi. Passionate, riveting, and full of surprising twists and turns, this vampire love saga is well on its way to literary immortality.

Demonic Novel! November 21, 2008 Sam Fisher Vampire novels are never good! In fact, they have much more in common with the Devil and evil spirits than they do with anything else. Stuff like this comes from the pit of Hell! These books are NEVER good, they are always BAD! Mark my words, this book WILL NOT improve your life, in fact, it will undoubtedly ruin it!
Not as good as the first November 20, 2008 R. Weiss (St. Louis, MO United States) **This contains spoilers** As soon as I finished "Twilight", I raced to the bookstore to pick up "New Moon". Expecting the same emotion and story, I read with great anticipation. But I was soon shocked to find how the story took a radical turn. This is a VERY sad book. The depression that Bella feels after Edward leaves is very powerful. If you've ever lost a close family member, you can empathize with the "gaping hole" feeling she has. So I continued to read on, desperate to know when Edward was coming back....I mean he had to, didn't he? I read and read...and 400 pages into it I really started to get discouraged. The story tended to drag on until all of a sudden it jumps to lightning speed and Bella races halfway around the world to.....well, I won't ruin all of it for you. Anyways, I'm really hoping I won't be disappointed with "Eclipse". If you're a hopeless romantic, stop at the first book.
I was a teenage werewolf. November 20, 2008 Johnny Heering (Bethel, CT United States) This book has been analyzed to death already, so I won't write too long of a review. Presumably, you will already have read Twilight before you read this book. This book pick up soon after that one left off. But fans of Edward the vampire may be disappointed, because he leaves near the beginning of the book and doesn't show up again until near the end. Instead, most of the book is devoted to Bella's friendship with Jacob the werewolf. We learn all we need to know about werewolves (Stephanie Meyer's version of werewolves, anyway). It's fairly entertaining, although some people may find all the "love that will never die" stuff to be corny.
just wish edward has more part in it! November 20, 2008 I. Wong (Tokyo) ok. I just so wish edward has more part in this book! only half the time! to be honest, bella is ok. but honestly, she doesnt deserve edward! if anyone has someone like edward gosh, it was a no brainer to choose. anyway, enjoy.
Amazing November 19, 2008 Rebekah Vasquez (Norfolk, VA USA) Stephanie Meyers is a grand author. Her books are absolutely absorbing and completely thrilling. A wonderful book to read. Alice Cullen is the best!
