| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description With the exception of only the common cold, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) accounts for more work and school absences than any other illness. But drugs aren't always the best option - as Dr. Ash learn from experience. He has developed a program that helps relieve symptoms without drugs - and has applied his knowledge to the treatment of IBS, helping thousands of patients. In this groundbreaking treatment plan Dr. Ash reveals his drug-free approach to relieving the symptoms of IBS, using vitamin C, bioflavonoids, and other herbs and nutrients that help the body to heal itself. He also discusses the role of food allergies; the need for adequate diagnostic tests; and environmental factors, such as stress.

| Customer Reviews: Fascinating and helpful August 14, 2009 Sara (Ohio USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I did NOT already have "most of the answers" as the previous reviewer did. I found this book thorough and informative. Not only does the author help to explain why I suffered from the symptoms I did (and don't anymore), he explains, in detail, ways to limit and even eliminate those symptoms. The book also outlines a simple-to-follow 30-day plan that includes diet, exercise, supplements, relaxation techniques and more. If you are suffering from IBS, I strongly recommend you read this book and follow the doctor's instructions. It will help you feel better.

I already knew a lot when I read the book and was hoping for more tips, which I did find. The more you know, the more you can control this inconvenient and annoying syndrome.
