A true lifesaver! December 22, 2009 Greta T. Henglein (Tennessee, USA) When I was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, this book literally saved my life. It is very action-oriented, which is exactly what cancer patients like me need to regain control of their lives and cope with their diagnosis. If I had not read this wonderful book, I don't know if I would have had the strength, confidence, or the courage to keep my life as normal as possible while I was undergoing treatment------and persist to the point where my cancer remains in remission. I highly recommend this book for anyone recently diagnosed with cancer, and for their loved ones too. It's a great reminder of what a cancer diagnosis does, and does not, mean in terms of your daily life. May you find it as helpful as I did!
A straightforward and helpful book December 17, 2009 Anne Orchard (Charmouth, Dorset, Uk) This straightforward book provides the single best summing up of a healthy approach to a cancer diagnosis that I have seen. It covers the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of a return to health, and sums up wisdom gained from those who have recovered against the odds. The information is presented in short sections, each with an 'important thing to do', which makes it less overwhelming than some longer books. Clarifies why it is important for the person with cancer to feel in control of their treatment and health. May make a welcome gift for the person with cancer if they are looking for inspiration as to how to face their cancer.

Wonderful book on how to take charge of your cancer treatment October 9, 2009 SuzyQ (FL) This is the 2nd time I have given this book to a cancer patient who was given the gloom and doom and six months to live. It turns their life around and helps them see that THEY are the ones really in charge of their treatment and gives them the hope they need to fight with every once of courage they have.
Highly recommended.
Critical and Uplifting Information August 20, 2009 Jennifer Watanabe (Honolulu, HI) This book provides very good information for anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer or going thru the process now. I use it as my daily and uplifting reminder as I do my bible. FABULOUS Book! I would highly recommend it..
Lifesaver! July 13, 2009 Tammy Willmore (Southern, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book was a lifesaver for me when I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year! Whenever I would get down and discouraged going through my treatments I would pick up this book and start reading again. Greg Anderson's story gave me hope and so much encouragement! I recommend this book for anyone diagnosed with cancer. I have bought copies to give to others I've met that are going through cancer treatment.
