Herbs work! November 3, 2009 A. Salinas (Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Based on the information in Left for Dead, my mother has been able to quickly and safely lower her blood pressure entirely with cayenne and hawthorne... no drugs!
I am only 32 years old, but have 3 small children (ages 6 and under) and was tired all the time. ALL THE TIME. I started taking cayenne and hawthorne hoping to find the energy to get through my day without collapsing from exhaustion, and it has worked! I noticed a difference in my energy level the very first day I used cayenne. And it wasn't the nervous energy that caffeine brings. In fact, I am finally able to wean myself off caffeine because of the better-quality energy boost that the herbs give me.
I am convinced that God has provided these natural materials for our benefit. If you are really interested in finding out about how herbs can remedy all sorts of problems, I highly recommend this book and the website [...] as a starting point.
Good information July 10, 2009 Nancy Louise (Northeast USA) This is an old, but valuable book. I had one copy, but wanted to get a newer one. The info will help you in many ways.I take the cayenne and garlic 3X a day.Hope to get blood work done to see good results.
Eyeopener on Heart Disease March 31, 2009 Dorothy Cline (Houston, TX) Left for Dead contained information I had never heard before about how one can take charge of their own health, and helped me with cardiovascular issues after my recent heart attack. It has some amazing truths in the book, information that one will never get from the medical establishment. A must read for anyone with heart disease or anyone who is a candidate for heart disease, or anyone who has relatives or friends with heart disease.
I Only Have One Regret Concerning This Book January 2, 2009 The House Elf (Uniontown, PA USA) I appreciate the humor and honesty with which Dick Quinn wrote Left For Dead. There is a wealth of information about cayenne, as well as other herbs and supplements in the book. My only regret is that one of my closest friends, who died of congestive heart failure at the age of 52, several years ago, did not have this information available to her. I truly believe her life would have been extended if only she had.
Call these ideas quackery if you will, but all I can say is that from our experience, these things seem to work better for us than traditional medicine, most of the time.
Left for deadT August 1, 2008 Gay I. Holmes (Anderson, S.C USA) This book has given my father hope for his heart disease. He was told by his cardiologist that his heart disease would progressively get worse and that there was nothing more that could be done for him. After taking the herbs recommended in the book for three weeks, he says he feels better than he has in years, and has plenty of energy and stamina. His blood pressure and cholesteral have dropped to a normal level. I recommend this book to anyone with heart disease, or has a family member with heart disease.
