Excellent advise if you follow it. November 13, 2009 T. Lohman If you can eat sensibly and exercise regularly, you will keep fat off. You need to include strength training. There are no miracles here. It is your decision.

The book was more about him than anything else. It just went on and on and only about 50 pages were worth reading. This is definitely not worth the money. I am so glad I didn't get sucked into his $200 DVD stuff on TV.
same old same old August 15, 2009 S. Crovo 38 out of 40 found this review helpful
I just received this book and am sending it right back! This is the same old tired don't eat fat, don't eat egg yolks, in fact if you look at a daily sample menu don't eat calories. While I agree with his tried, old , and true suggestions of exercise both weight resistance and aerobic as well as eating frequently to maintain metabolism his virtually fat free fruit and veggie eating regimen is more well suited to the Hollywood anorexic set. And by the way, though he says don't diet, his plan looks like a diet to me. Look people, we know what we need to do. Avoid fast and processed foods. Eat a diet rich in fruit, veggies, and yes egg yolks because that is where all of the nutrition lies. It's not easy and we frequently stumble because the answers are simple; it's the implementation that is hard. We are not perfect, but the egg INCLUDING the yolk is. Eat well and skip this book. I am so glad that I did not buy his infomercial babble as well. Try "The Maker's Diet" instead.

This is one awesome book. It really helps the reader let go of unwanted body fat for good so that it doesn't come back again.
I Never Rate Books....This One Is Worth It December 30, 2005 Natz301 (Atl, GA) 9 out of 12 found this review helpful
OK, how many diet books can we possibly take in this country?? You can pretty much do away with 90% of them, the only thing they offer is "eating plans" that you won't follow for more than 1 week and while you do you feel like it is torture.
This book is about reversing that mentality taking responsibility for your eating habits, but not having a "plan" where certain foods are off limits, because those are always doomed and leaving you feeling the urge to "be bad" and have a cookie. This book talks about changing your mentality from "I can't have" to "I don't want to have".....
Great book, I never review books, lots of personal examples make this interesting and the writers are very knowledgeable and
honest. Will change the way you look at carbs, fat, calories and exercise.
