I found this book to be extremely practical and useful. Filled with lots of good tools for helping parents. We use it in our counseling practice here in PA and have received many "thanks" from parents.

Congratulations, Dr Schaller, for this amazing book written and released at the right time. This book is indeed a valuable book of information loaded with hands on techniques for those who deal with out of control children and youth. It is a must for Parents, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, School Guidance Counselors, Social Workers and all the mental health workers who deal with kids either in an inpatient or outpatient setting. I sincerely recommend it.

Excellent Book!! January 18, 2006 Scott A. Kreifels 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Having been a clinician at a residential treatment facility for out of control youth, I have personally witnessed the therapeutic and medical pitfalls of mainstream psychiatry. Learning little more than systematic behavior management, this book was a sigh of relief for my many unanswered questions. If you are looking for solutions, look no further - very informative and to the point. Real answers start here.
