Valley Fever Epidemic October 14, 2009 Thomas L. Wallace This Valley Fever infection has the potential to do great harm in communities all across the Southwestern part of the U.S. My Sister (Tucson) had debilitating lung problems. She was misdiagnosed which added to the delay in treatment. Her lung tissue is now permanently scarred and marginally functional. This fine book covers all aspects of the disease and is well worth reading.
A MUST READ!!!!!!! September 25, 2009 Alison M. Ellison (Mount Airy, MD) Your life depends on this very well-written book, explaing the hideous disease of Valley Fever. I found the book to be written in layman's terms and easy to understand. I would recommend it to anyone who lives in the endemic area or who would be going to visit the Southwest. The book has a wealth of helpful resources and how to get the best medical care and medications for anyone afflicted with this ravenous disease. I am so greatful for this book -- I can't believe it has not received more recognition!
good information but too technical September 6, 2009 socalgal (Los Angeles, CA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this book based on the rave reviews. The information contained in the book is quite informative but is too technical for my liking. It just could not keep my interest. It also contained way too many stories of people who contracted Valley Fever.
This is a tragic and horrible affliction for anyone who has Valley Fever and should be read by all who do have the disease.
