| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description This book will enable readers to quickly incorporate an all around self-healing and personal development "way" into their lives, based on the fundamental principles and practices of Chinese Qigong. By integrating right diet, gentle but deeply focused movement, breath training, and meditation we can gain a new state of well-being, peace, and personal strengh. The natural healing ability that we all posses is an energy that has been passed on to us from the cosmos. We can harness this inner power and learn to enact positive change in any circumstance. First, it is indispensable that we carry out mind-body maintenance on a daily basis to prolong and hold our good health. Mirrored on my consulting practice in Tokyo, I hope to introduce Qigong as this total system for life enhancement.

Balancing so many deep issues of health and wellness into a single text November 14, 2008 E. Lowe (London) This book is more than than just the sum of its parts. It introduces a totally holistic approach to integrating Qi gong into one's life. Qi gong books commonly delve only into the Chinese theory and movements, but this book takes a unique approach by emphasizing health through well considered food consumption (easy recipes and programs included), balanced nutrition, and breath training, along with exercise and meditation. The last 30 or 40 pages has a clear set of sequenced photos showing the pattern of motion for 14 different Qi gong motions, going through the whole process takes around 20 minutes. Try it - I felt great! yes, as the title says, rejuvenated, in a way that yoga or harder exercise (running, weights, etc) has never let me experience. This book is unusual, as it is written by a Japanese woman who apparently went to China to study Qi gong after suffering a bout with cancer. There is a compelling recovery story here of how she turned her life around by applying Qi Gong in all aspects, that of right thinking, right eating, and practice of movement as presented with the field of Qi gong. I found this book both extremely thought provoking, sensible, sincere, and applicable to every life in a way that so many overly exotic and esoteric texts often do not. highly recommended.
