Product Description When you loved the one who was killing you, it left you no options. How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one? If your life was all you had to give, how could you not give it? If it was someone you truly loved?
To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife have led her to the ultimate turning point. Her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or to pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the fates of two tribes hangs.
Now that Bella has made her decision, a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating, and unfathomable, consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella's life-first discovered in Twilight, then scattered and torn in New Moon and Eclipse-seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed... forever?
The astonishing, breathlessly anticipated conclusion to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic that has entranced millions.

More, please? September 5, 2008 I did enjoy the book. It was a little too pat but it made me happy. I would really like to read more about Renesme and Jacob so, though this is the last of the Twilight series, I hope that Stephanie will someday tell their story.
Also, I hope that Stephanie won't allow the carelessness of one person get in the way of telling Edward's story. It says volumes about an author when she can tell the same story from a different point of view and still captivate. What an innovative, ground breaking idea! Stephanie - please finish it;-)
P.S. Read "The Host"! Wow! Wonderful story, can't wait for the sequels!
Breaking Dawn September 5, 2008 Breaking Dawn is the last book in the Twilight series. The book ended the series wonderfully answering all of our questions. Stephenie Meyer is my favorite author because of the way she writes bigger books that are easy to read. I encourage anyone who likes Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse to buy this book.

What do you mean 'what was she thinking' SM CAN"T THINK! September 5, 2008 My life does not hang on what happens in this series so please keep that in mind when reading. Oh and please do not mock my less than 'perfect marble' typing skills and sorry you might have to take more than 1/84th of a second to read this (for those of you who are WAY too into unrealistic perfection and unimaginative detail).
On the whole I think this book is very much like the others. My perception is that many people got swept up in the 1st thru 3rd books then have had to move on for a year and now that they have come back it is not as 'breathtaking' as they remembered, because it really is not and never was. Good story a little clever but NOWHERE near `Genius' as others have been so idiotic to call it.
There are two things that I was willing to give SM and she seemed to lose a bit of those in this book (and definitely lost completely in Host). 1- She knew her die hard audience (the `die hard audience' ...ahhh...this is a discussion for another time). 2- She knew her limitations, abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. With this last book she seems to have lost quite a bit of these two things, best-selling author does not = GREAT author, somehow she thinks she is a great author and she tries doing things that just how limited her writing `skills' really are.
About 20% of the book needs to be cut because there is way too much worthless and ultra repetitive detail. I do not dislike this book (as I did the Host) but I do not like it as much as some of the others. It does fit in with the rest of this series and for those of you who `hate' this book compared with the others, welcome back to reality, sorry it sucks so bad for you.
Not the direction I would have gone September 5, 2008 I feel about this book the way I felt about the third Matrix movie. "What? They set up all this really cool stuff and then ended it like this? What a disappointment." I gave it three stars because at least it all makes sense, there are no major plot holes that I could find. And I support the author's right to end her story the way she wants to. I just thought it was very silly. And I'm glad I'm a fast reader so that I didn't waste a lot of time. But the teenage girls probably love it.
On a positive note, reading this series made me run screaming back to my Harry Potter books to find character development, cohesive plot, and good old common sense. So thank you Stephenie Meyer. You made me realize what a genius (a rare commodity) JK Rowling really is.
great read September 5, 2008 A critic can call a book escapist. What that really means to me is that is so well written that the story truly draws you in. There is a delicate balance between writing enough detail that you feel like your there and writing so many details that it just takes forever to read. Reading shouldn't feel like work, you're supposed to enjoy what you read. Ignore that critic!! This book was amazing. We can only hope that Midnight Sun will meet the printing press.
