A Classic December 4, 2008 Saavy (St. Louis, MO) I have been buying this book for my Dad (an avid runner) for Christmas for the past 15 years. It is the ideal log for runners to record their distances, times, notes about their runs, and more. There are also tips, suggestions, and facts throughout the book pertaining to everything "running". We prefer this Marty Jerome version over all the other runners' calendars there. You will not be disappointed!
Pass on this one November 26, 2008 My 3 Cents (USA) Based on the heads-up by many reviewers on the unfortunate changes in format, I found an adequate substitute for the Runner's Day-by-Day log for 2009. Fortunately, I had not ordered the log for 2009 as early as I have in previous years. The old format was great. I liked the content and format of the entry pages. Time to move on.
keep the old style November 25, 2008 Wishingwell (Coral Gables, FL) I'm with the other reviewers. I buy this log year after year because it had a perfect format. Please go back to the old format for 2010! [Isn't it interesting that after 6 reviewers all being honest about what they think of this book, suddenly there are 4 or 5 5-star reviews. Which do you suppose are the legitimate reviews?]

I have just purchased my 31st copy over the last three decades since I have been using this book as my running log. I started when it was published by Jim Fixx and when he died continued to use the Jerome version. It is perfect for a runner, is well organized, and has space for all the essential information. I have been running for 56 years and logged over 75,000 miles the last 30 plus years in this great running log. I hope that the diary exists and lasts as long as I hope to be running. At age 73 in a few months each year that I purchase my new running log it is like a "victory lap" Cody
So sad about the changed cover November 23, 2008 a reader (North Carolina USA) I have these journals dating back to 1995 and love my matched set. Alas, no longer a matched set since this year's is a sub-par photo for no apparent reason. Please don't make changes to what many have always considered the perfect running log!
