Amazon.com Review The book that started the phenomenon is now available in a deluxe collector's edition! Featuring a ribbon bookmark, cloth cover, ragged edges, new chapter opener designs, and a beautiful protective slipcase, this edition is perfect for fans and collectors alike.
Bella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Bella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Bella, the person Edward holds most dear.
Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.
Product Description About three things I was absolutely positive: First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him–and I didn’t know how dominant that part might be–that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.
“I’D NEVER GIVEN MUCH THOUGHT TO HOW I WOULD DIE– I’d had reason enough in the last few months –but even if I had, I would not have imagined it like this. . . . Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of something else, someone I loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something.” When Isabella Swan moves to the gloomy town of Forks and meets the mysterious, alluring Edward Cullen, her life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. With his porcelain skin, golden eyes, mesmerizing voice, and supernatural gifts, Edward is both irresistible and impenetrable. Up until now, he has managed to keep his true identity hidden, but Bella is determined to uncover his dark secret. What Bella doesn’t realize is the closer she gets to him, the more she is putting herself and those around her at risk. And, it might be too late to turn back. . . . Deeply seductive and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight will have readers riveted right until the very last page is turned.

Great book, not just for tweens December 4, 2008 Heather (Illinois, USA) I finally bought this book because I had to see what all the buzz was about. I am 25 and not usually into teen/tween geared novels. From page one I was sucked into this story about a teenage girl who falls hopelessly and irrevocably in love with a vampire... and a pretty good vampire at that. I think people up to the age of 30 would enjoy this book. As long as you realize it was written for a younger audience, you will not be disapointed. Stephanie Meyer has a great ability of captivating her audience and dragging them into this world filled with vampires, mostly friendly. I definitely recommend this book to everyone age 10 and up. Oh, and don't be discouraged by the thickness of the book. Although the book is long it will not feel that way. I read this book in about two days. It is a fast read because you never want to put it down.
I want my money back December 4, 2008 Bogie's Master I'm not kidding. I've never considered returning a book I've read before, but I'm considering it. This was the worst book I've ever read and I can't believe 1.someone published it 2.people like it and 3.that I paid money and wasted a few hours of my life reading it. Seriously, don't waste your time or money.
JK Rowling & Anne Rice, blended perfectly! December 4, 2008 Anthony Robillard (Chattanooga, TN) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is by far the best new series I have read in this decade! A love story reminiscent of Romeo & Juliet, but infinitely more approachable. Read and fall in love with her characters!
Just add Thesaurus December 4, 2008 KB It took me many chapters to get past the horrific writing. I felt like the author had her thesaurus sitting open next to her the entire time she was writing this. So painful to read. But then she hooked me and I couldn't put it down. The writing improves in book 2, hope the trend continues...
Twilight is BEST book I have read in years!!! December 4, 2008 S. Wall I could not put this book down. I was captivated by Edward, and addicted to finding out every detail about what was going to happen next. The mystery and true love was brilliantly written and weaved through the whole story. I am dying for Stephenie Meyer to finish writing "Midnight Sun" which is "twilight" from Edwards perspective. I think it will push this saga over the top and I will read this book and the other sequels over and over!!!
