Description
Having at last achieved his Perfect Form, the evil Cell's powers have soared to terrible new heights, overshadowing even the greatest of the Z-Fighters. Eager to demonstrate these newfound abilities and prove his superiority, Cell proposes a tournament. He issues an ultimatum to the people of Earth—produce a worthy opponent or die!

The day of reckoning upon them, Goku and the Z-Fighters line up to participate in Cell's twisted game, the world's best hope of defeating the monster. But they are not the only ones brave enough to accept the challenge—the reigning World Martial Arts Champion, Mr. Satan, has also stepped into the ring! Now, with the fate of the human race hanging in the balance, one of these valiant fighters must come forward to defeat the seemingly invincible Perfect Cell—but who will it be?

5 out of 5 stars Showing Gohan would be a spoiler!   August 24, 2008
Some people are wondering why Goku is utilized on the cover and not Gohan. Well, you could say because it is a spoiler for those who have yet to see this season of DBZ. And sure, there are a few of them. Showing the art of the SSJ2 Gohan would have been the best move though, since it is so intense and awesome to see the little kid in pure kick*** form. You could even show the frame on the cover where the bird is flying through the eyes of Gohan as he realizes what is happening after Cell squishes #18's head just for the heck of it. That is a pretty powerful piece of art if you ask me.

But it is Goku who makes Gohan SSJ in the first place. Who discovers that both Gohan and himself need to learn to live life in SSJ form to conserve the necessary energy to even make the bigger jump needed for SSJ2. Etc. Etc. Gohan is the hero indeed, but Goku once again is the key to the hero having the ability to become the hero.

5 out of 5 stars Catch 22   August 24, 2008
season 6! about darn time! everyone on the anime watching planet wants this right now! the best anime to date. however, has anyone else noticed how funimation is boinking us (lol)! I mean these box sets are a catch 22 of sorts dont you think. look back to the first single dvd boxes. see the difference. yes with these you get the better voice overs and all the remastered stuff but where are the special features! when you put out a "better" virson" of somthing the entire somthing had best be 2x as good because after all we are paying an arm and a leg for it even after we paid an arm and a leg for the last virson. WTF funimation! GET WITH THE PORGRAM and fast!

5 out of 5 stars Cell Saga (Seasons 5 and 6) is the Best   August 18, 2008

I haven't seen it restored yet but I remember it when it was on Cartoonnetwork. This is by far the best season of the Dragon Ball Series. Frieza was good Buu was okay but Cell in my opinion is the ultimate villain. The fight scene are the best in the entire series and it has a story that blows out all the rest.
