Increase the distance of your shots, finish the round as strong as you started, and prevent common golf injuries with Jesper Parnevik's Golf Workout. Learn the exercises that PGA Tour star Jesper Parnevik uses to keep his game going strong with a workout that takes just 20 minutes a day. Parnevik is known for having a powerful swing, which gives him more distance off the tee and allows him to hit short irons into the greens. In video he presents the golf-specific workout he uses to improve and maintain strength, flexibility, and a proper swing. The program was designed by Jessica Parnevik and David Tomsich, two licensed sport physical therapists who have spent years helping athletes of all levels overcome injuries and maximize their potential.
The exercises are divided into four categories Address, Backswing, Downswing/impact, and Follow-through.
In the first part of the video, Jesper introduces each set of exercises by demonstrating the importance of the phase of the swing. He also provides drills that you can use to fine-tune your swing. Jessica and David then demonstrate the exercises with variations so that you can tailor them to your fitness level. The exercises are challenging yet low-impact and the only equipment you need is your golf clubs.
In the second part of the video, Jesper leads you through a full 20-minute workout that includes clips of outstanding shots he has made during tournament competition. These clips will keep you motivated and focused on what is possible with good physical conditioning.
