Good workout in a short time August 22, 2008 This is my first pregnancy. Before I was pregnant, I worked out moderately, a couple of times a week. I stopped working out during my first trimester because of morning sickness. Once I sprung back in the second trimester, I ordered this DVD to work out to. This DVD is excellent for anyone who is in less than perfect shape. I found it challenging in some areas, and I really feel better afterwards. Please keep in mind that you will need two pillows, 2 five pound weights and a chair. I hope that you will enjoy it as much as I do! Your back muscles will thank you!
Excellent for exhausting first trimester August 16, 2008 If you are barely getting through the day but you don't want to give up having an exercise routine, this is the workout for you.
Just right August 1, 2008 i work out regularly, but the morning sickness I experienced during my first trimester kept me from being one of those women who can just fly through my pregnancy while only slightly altering my workout.
Denise's workout is just right. The right duration and the right activity level for the way I feel right now. A lot of the reviews on here mock her upbeat tone, but that's just who she is. I would certainly rather a cheerleader than someone telling me how horrible pregnancy is, or to get up off my rear and do something. I think her tone, voice, and communicated expectations are also just right.
With my first child I felt great and continued daily aerobics classes. I probably would have been a bit bored with this workout. But with the fatigue and nausea of this pregnancy, this workout is - again - just right.
Not What I Expected July 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was really excited to get this one in the mail ,but once I did and started the routine I was really bored! I am pregnant and want to feel like I have exercised. This video should be labeled beginner, beginner!
Good DVD for exercise beginners July 1, 2008 I liked that this DVD had different workouts for different stages of pregnancy. Since I was a moderate exerciser before pregnancy with a background in dance, I found the routines a bit boring. This video would be good for a pregnant woman who has not exercised in a while or is a beginner.
