Namaste, welcome to prenatal Vinyasa Yoga. My name is Jennifer Wolfe and I am a prenatal and vinyasa yoga instructor, a doula, a childbirth educator, a hypnotherapist, and a mother.

I have worked with hundreds of pregnant women before, during and after the birth of their babies and have seen the wonderful benefits that doing yoga while pregnant can have on your body, your birth experience, and your recovery from childbirth.

This DVD was specifically developed for women who have been practicing Vinyasa flow, Ashtanga, or Power Yoga before they were pregnant but can also be used for women who practice other forms of yoga or beginners who wish to build strength and flexibility. If you are a beginner please use the 3rd trimester modifications demonstrated by Binna. This will allow you to gain strength and flexibility safely and once you feel comfortable with the routine you can move to the 1st or 2nd trimester modifications as appropriate.

Although yoga is a safe form of exercise for pregnant women, every woman's body is different and requires attention and awareness during any exercise to ensure the body's well being. Please obtain permission from your doctor, midwife or health provider before doing any prenatal exercise and most important, listen to your body.

This product is manufactured on demand using DVD-R recordable media. Amazon.com's standard return policy will apply.

5 out of 5 stars Best Prenatal Yoga DVD...EVER!!!   October 4, 2008
Wow...where do I begin? This DVD has really helped be prepare not only my body but my mind for labor. I started the DVD when I was 6.5 mos and am now 8 mos. The video was very challenging and in the beginning I was like how the hec am I going to get through this?! But I stuck with it and my body looks just as good as it did before I was pregnant!! My legs are stronger and feel better equipped to deal with labor and my arms are actually more toned as well!! Also, the relaxation at the end has helped me with my visual imagery to prepare for labor...I am taking hypnobirthing classes and visual imagery is a big part of it. Even though this would be very difficult for someone who never has taken yoga before..you can easily adjust the poses and take breaks when you need to. This video has had such an effect on me that I'm even going to continue it after I have my baby:)This is a must buy...it is 1.5 hrs long so I do this every other day and on the days between I like to do a little bit more of a mellow yoga like kundalini.

5 out of 5 stars Good replacement for Power Yoga   September 21, 2008
I have always loved power yoga...especially when it is in a hot room. I knew when I got pregnant, I wouldn't be able to do power yoga any more. This work is about 70 minutes, I work up a good sweat, but not as much as I would in a hot room. Good focus on hip opening stretches. Would definitely recommend this yoga workout!

5 out of 5 stars Butt kickin' Workout!!!!   August 7, 2008

This is a great prenatal workout for thoes who have experience in Yoga prior to pregnancy. After finishing the main workout (about 1hr 15min) I feel like I've really worked out!! It's great. Besides the instructor, this DVD has someone in her 2nd trimester and someone in her 3rd trimester, so it's easy to follow which modifications to a pose depending on your stage of pregnancy. The first time I tried the DVD I was well into my 2nd trimester. Now 31weeks still able to complete the workout. My only complaint is that after the main workout is over, the DVD automatcially goes into a partenr yoga workout instead of taking you back to the main screen. But that's it..... It's a great workout that will challenge you and make you sweat!!!

5 out of 5 stars Great workout!   August 5, 2008
This is really a very good yoga workout. I was totally drained after only an hour session, the whole session is an hr & half! I was perspiring alot while doing it which i love it!

3 out of 5 stars Rodney Yee Fan   August 1, 2008
I ordered this DVD because it said something about being appropriate for those who have been practicing Vinyasa Flow or Power Yoga. My favorite DVD is Power Yoga with Rodney Yee, so I decided to give it a try.

I only made it through about the first 20 minutes before I had to turn it off, but in that amount of time I found the poses and flow to be extremely similar to my Power Yoga DVD. It made me wonder why I'd spent the money in the first place, when it was so similar.

However, the atmosphere was completely different. The atmosphere in Power Yoga with Rodney Yee is set outdoors, with calming, instrumental music. This Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga is set inside, in what felt like a cramped room, and is set to music that I would call "tribal" for lack of a better term. I could not relax into it.

Since the poses and flow are almost identical, I will continue to practice my Power Yoga, with modifications given by my doctor, and this DVD will be up for sale soon on Amazon Marketplace.

Hope this helps!
