The AM set begins with a sunrise breathing exercise which stimulates the navel center for energy. This technique is also for longevity and prosperity. The set segues into warm-ups to warm-up the spine and release the hips. Next on the agenda is an invigorating morning wake-up set which works the navel, inner thighs, digestions, upper arms, and radiance. The morning meditation will open all the chakras so you can walk out the door balanced, inspired, and on top of the world.
The PM set begins with a breathing exercise to help you get your overview back. The first exercise is alternate leg lifts for centering. The subsequent exercises are for tension release. Also, featured is a chanting meditation for an open heart and a before bed meditation for deep sleep and positive wake-up.

This is the first Ravi & Ana DVD I purchased, and I am so glad it was. This is a great DVD to have, it usually takes me about 45 minutes to do the warm ups, meditations, and relaxations. I have been using this DVD nearly everyday for a month. It really is a great way to start and end your day!

The AM set is challenging, I have only been practicing for a couple months, once or twice a day, and I have a shoulder injury. It is challenging but not impossible. I am definitely getting better at the asanas though, I notice that I am able to hold poses longer and stronger everyday that I consistencly practice. So don't get frustrated if you can't keep up with Ana, go at your own pace and take a break if you need to! Breathing is the most important part and everyone can do that. The Am set has breath of fire, which is great in itself, but requires practice.

The PM is really good. It is not very hard to do, but is really really relaxing. I try to do this set everynight. The meditation at the end is one of my favorites.

If you are considering getting a Ravi & DVD, I would suggest this one for your first purchase. The sets are short, but not too short, and cover all of the essentials.

Like all DVDs by Ravi and Ana, this one is totally addicting. It energizes me in the morning and helps me relax in the evening. If you like Kundalini yoga, you will love this series.

My daughter suggested the Ana Brett & Ravi Singh DVDs when I started developing a dread factor towards the gym. I have always been athletic but my same routine became mind numbing! This type of yoga satisfies my athletic drive while keeping my stress under control. I really like the way this DVD covers every aspect of working the body (and mind) in just a short vigorous session. The morning session features some warm-ups and a continuous routine (sort of pilates like) with the breath of fire which helps you get important things covered quickly. Then it ends with a meditation to open and balance the chakras, sort of like getting all your ducks in a row before you walk out the door. The PM session starts with an abdominal exercise to help get you recentered after a stressful day and then segues into an upper body set which is great for strengthening and tension release. The PM meditation works on the nerves and will guarantee a deep and restful sleep.

Their narrative is so explicit that you can do this workout with your eyes closed so there is no craning of the neck to watch the TV like with other yoga programs I have tried. I like this type of yoga with its breath of fire because I really feel I am getting aerobic benefits and cleaning out my lungs while tuning up other aspects of my body and mind.
I am really enjoying the benefits of this DVD!

I lift weights 4 times a week, cardio 3 times, and thought yoga should help with my flexibility. I figured a yoga workout in the morning or night would be easiest, but I just can't seem to keep the routine. Maybe because it's a DVD that I have to watch. I'm on one week, then off two doing the yoga.

Seems like a good video when I do use it.
