Description This non-stop action video was made to entertain as well as teach jump rope tricks and give a great workout. The viewer is transported around the globe from the Eiffel Tower in Paris to New York's Times square all while jumping rope to an original up-beat sound track. The video is well paced with breaks that teach new footwork and jump rope tricks. During the "fun jump sessions," jumpers are given the chance to workout in wild and wacky places around the globe. Optional more advanced tricks are taught at the end of the workout along with a shot of an 85 foot high dive (viewed from the top) from the leading lady herself, the hiphopper. This video is truly one of a kind!

I've seen better homemade videos January 2, 2002 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The production quality of this video is appalling. It looks like some home video footage was later spliced into a brief, weak instructional set piece. Erin Moore can definitely jump rope, but she's a weak instructor, and the video goes nowhere.

I got this video for my 3 kids, aged 12, 9 and 5, and they've all watched it several times. They follow the video with a jump rope (recommend you get a jump rope for each kid or else they'll be fighting over it!). My 5 year old boy did the whole half hour workout and then wanted to do it again. I've never seen his cheeks so red! Great entertainment and exercise for kids of all ages.
Aerobic exercise in funtime. February 2, 2001 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Watching this fun way to exercise this 75 year old male wanted to run right out and get a jump rope.To think that a childhood pastime could be such an exciting, enjoyable way to get an aerobic workout at any age and enjoy it. Viewing this video wont make you into a high diver but it could help to make you physically fit while having fun. View it! Do it! Have fun!

Self esteem booster for kids January 14, 2001 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This video teaches neat tricks that kids age four to fourteen will be able to do. Rope around the world is full of interesting scenes the kids can watch while they practice to the music. After a brief "how-to," the child has time to practice before the next trick is introduced. Jump rope is an excellent (and inexpensive) way to develop motor skills, and it is good work out which disguises itself as play. My daughter, age 8, loves it.
