5 out of 5 stars Great Full Body Weights Workout   July 21, 2005

This is a really excellent weights workouts. I would definately recommend this video for anyone who wants to get into a weight lifting program. The moves are explained in a detailed manner, a descriptions of reps and pounds are described on screen before each exercise. This video is lengthy and features a 45min beginner workout and 40min advanced. In this video the instructers do most of the exercises on a bench, but you could still do the exercise on the floor. The instructers at one point use ankle weights which might be a good investment. But only after you have done the video for at least a couple of weeks. As far as the amount of weight to use 0-10lbs is what they used in the video. Start out with a light weight because you will be sore the next day. On my first workout I used a 3 and 5 lbs weight. And at first I thought I did not feel anything but boy was I sore. So if you are not used to doing a lot of upper body work like me stay with the low weights.

P.S. This video also goes under the name JANE FONDA'S SHAPING AND TONING. It is the exact same workout.
