Nice product for the price. Easily adjusts, provides firm support for "bigger" people. Rubber tips. Has a really nice informational CD-a workout to do and good instruction on technique.If I get a body like this instructor, I'll be really happy!

I got these for my 86 y o mom to help keep her steady on her walks. The telescoping poles are sturdy and lock-in securely, and the price is half of what I saw anywhere else.

For a pair of adjustable walking poles with an informational DVD the Gaiam Walking Poles Kit are a great deal! I had bought them for my power walking grandma after taking a fitness class that highlighted their benefits. Walking with poles is great for posture, stamina and really works the arms. I was excited to purchase this item but the first one I recieved had a broken foot so I had to return it. Luckily, Amazon has a great return policy and I was shipped a new one immediately. This pair of poles was intact except the wrist strap on one of the poles came off. I offered to return it for my grandma but she said that she would have removed the straps anyways so it worked out well in our favor. I hope that my bad luck in getting broken poles is just a fluke, not a standard in the product. Happy Walking!

I didn't want to spend a lot before I knew if I liked the walking sticks. Luckily, my husband was willing to take these and let me buy the Lekis. These are noisy while walking and heavier than the Lekis. I probably wouldn't keep using them, but I LOVE the Lekis, except I do like the larger grip on the Gaiam poles.
