Not completely updated March 6, 2009 Karen Bronshteyn 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm disappointed that the authors did not update Appendix B, "Suggested Reading Materials", and I'm not sure what other areas are missing updates. The text is somewhat simplified, but this may be useful to most readers. Good points are that the text includes practical charts, illustrations, an index, a few recipes, and other resources.
Great help for those of us with cancner January 14, 2009 Leni Cowling (Michigan, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book gave me a lot of information that is important to me as I have a gastrinoma. It has helped me ameliorate many of the hurtful symptoms without narcotics.

Keep this book for research. It is fascinating but extremely technical and has few examples for those who are looking to start working on changing their food habits NOW!
Informative Book November 3, 2008 India Rose (Prattville, AL USA) This is an informative book for people diagnosed with cancer as well as their caretakers.

It was a good book, but nearly as informative as some books I have read.
