It does exactly what it states!

My skin looked amazing after just the 24 hour kickstart and I did not even follow the 2 week plan.
This doctor introduces you to some great products for your skin that you can use for life, wish I lived near her clinic in NY or had even know about the PH effect or balance earlier in life!!

This book has some useful information in it. But after following the 2 week plan, I didn't notice a huge difference in my skin, mood, etc. However, I was already following the dietary suggestions listed in the book for some time, ie, I cut out soda from my diet years ago, never smoked, drink in moderation, don't eat a lot of refined foods, etc. I imagine those who have poor diets and habits are going to be the ones who see the most dramatic results. I did try her alkalizing cocktail, Greens First. For a green juice, it is true that it isn't bad tasting at all. It is rather expensive, though. I do believe that things like accupuncture, qi gong as a daily practice, and regular breathing exercises or meditations, contribute greatly to the health of the skin and the body. If you aren't quite ready to give up any of your poor eating habits, etc. , these are other avenues you can try to begin getting on a healthier track. For me, my daily qi gong practice has been a lifesaver in terms of alleviating stress. For a simple skin lotion, I have been using coconut oil and so far it has been really wonderful. (and eating the coconut oil too!)

This book was recommended to me by a friend, and I have found the information contained therein to be life-changing. Many/most Americans are slowly killing themselves by the food they put in their bodies. This book lays out with scientific information/research/findings how important it is for us to have an alkaline diet. It details an easy-to-understand approach to eating healthy and staying healthy. It's necessary to change some life-long bad habits, but the results are incredible. I cannot say enough good things about the information presented and the easy-to-read format used by Dr. Graf. She even includes many recipes --

This book had me hooked from the very first page! It is so well-written and incredibly fascinating. Like other reviewers have said, Dr. Graf explains the science behind the pH theory of balanced living in a very easy to understand way, so that you truly understand the benefit to changing your lifestyle. And all of her recommendations are so realistic and livable... you don't really have to give up anything you love, you just have to balance everything out. I have ordered all the necessary products and food to start the program (a little spendy, but I know it will be worth it!), and I can't wait to start living a healthier lifestyle.

I highly recommend this book to ANYONE!! :)
