3 out of 5 stars It's a start...   February 11, 2010
Paula Terifaj
Use this as a helpful foundation - if you have cancer - you will need alot more information than this book offers.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent information   December 30, 2009
Be Real
We should all start looking at alternatives to current cancer treatments. Another wonderful resource is "Should I be tested for Cancer maybe not and here's why" by H. Gilbert Welch M.D. M.P.H.

4 out of 5 stars A positive way to improve your health if you suffer from Cancer   January 7, 2008

Ruth Sackman clearly makes the point that cancer sufferers need to work with a qualified physician to manage your illness. That said - she provides a wealth of information on nutritional and immune boosting therapies to assist in the improvement of the health of cancer patients. This is not a quick fix, and requires the dedication of the patient and their families to work - but in the end - isn't the outcome worth it?

5 out of 5 stars Rethinking Cancer: Nontraditional Approaches to the Theories, Treatments, and Prevention of Cancer   February 17, 2007

Excellent and very helpful imformation. The fear of cancer is, possibly, worse than the disease itself. Traditional medicine offers three choices: Surgery (I had 57 "places" removed before I said "Enough is enough!" and Chemotherapy (who really benefits from a destroyed immune system?) and Radiation (which actually CAUSES cancer). I highy recommend this book plus "The China Study" by Collin Campbell. These two books have changed my life for the better. I am healthy once again, I have more eneergy than when I was in my 30's, I sleep better (the body heals, primarily, during restful sleep), and I enjoy life with no fear of cancer any longer. GLL
