Product Description Introducing The Portable Miracle Ball, a take-it-anywhere-and-everywhere kit ideal for business travelers and commuters or anyone who spends long hours away from home. Rather than two balls, these exercises require only one, which, at 3 inches in diameter, packs easily and is discreet to use in public. The fully illustrated book is filled with simple exercises that work miracles the minute you settle into your hotel room or board a plane.
Stuck in a long line at the bank? Here are techniques to stretch the muscles and reduce tension right on the spot (and no, you won’t look silly). Feet worn out after a day at the museum? The author’s soothing exercises targeting the insteps and legs will have you up and moving again in no time. And for anyone who experiences discomfort when sitting for long periods, the book features exercises to be performed at your desk, on a plane, or even in a restaurant. A chapter on “Emergency Measures” provides quick relief for back spasms, waking up with extreme stiffness, and other acute problems. The author discusses proper breathing technique, ball placement, and the importance of listening to one’s own body when performing the movements.

Helps my back! November 5, 2009 Cecille M. Gannon (Forestville, CA) My chiropractor suggested I buy this product and she is right, it has really helped me stay flexible.
not worth it September 8, 2009 larry (Stevensville, MD) I bought this because it was suppossed to work in the car etc. It does not do well on a car seat at all. manual is complicated and not designed with ease of use in mind. My kids play with the ball now.
Ball with Book - Great Product for Relaxation & Balance August 4, 2009 J. Edvenson (Asker, Norway) Someone wrote they were surprised there were not more positive reviews here for this product, so I'm adding my '2-cents' worth.' Summary: Great great product, with extremely effective instructional booklet. And why should this be so surprising? Because, perhaps, we think our bodies are balanced and relaxed, given our usual routines. However, they are not, and this ball and book prove it. I'm an aging (hobby) dancer, work out regularly, swim 1/4 mile every few days, and do yoga. Still, I really benefited from the back and neck manipulation this ball provides - to reduce stiffness and I had begun to experience fibromyalgia. I have had such a great experience with this product that I bought two - one for each home. Now, I'm always prepared to relax - completely. Thanks, Elaine.
Pain relief on the go! May 29, 2009 J. Richardson (Seattle, WA USA) I was so surprised to see that this included a ball. I thought I was only getting the book. I love it! It comes with a mesh bag to make it easy to take with you anywhere. I like to use it in the car. Put the ball between your shoulder blades or lower back and the driver's seat and work out your pain on the go. The book also has great stretching exercises that don't need the ball.
The rubber balls smell like formaldehyde October 30, 2008 G. Reynolds (Orange county, CA USA) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I purchased this product, based on all the positive customer reviews. I liked the book, but I cant use the balls for more than 2 minutes before the noxious chemical smell overwhelms my olfactory system and I tense up even more. Now I understand that new rubber balls and other new items have a distinct new oder and that after a few weeks the smell will go away. I have had these balls on the balcony for 6 months and they still smell Ive tried washing them in hot water/ soap letting them sit in the sun, vinegar, but nothing works. Only reason Im giving this a 2 stars is the tiny pocket sized book, while written for people with an understanding of anatomy. Her ideas are sound and I bought other rubber balls (no smell, not even when new) that I use. While I would buy another book from the author never again will I buy anything from this publisher who doesn't care anything about product quality.
