Product Description In 1922, Rene Caisse, a Canadian nurse, made a discovery that would change her life and the course of cancer therapy. Caisse received the formula for an herbal remedy through a patient who had been successfully treated for breast cancer by a Native American medicine man. With this remedy, which she called Essiac, Caisse would go on to treat thousands of patients at an incredible recovery rate of 80%! With Essiac's key ingredients now available through health food stores, this book gives a complete account of the recipe, the doses and of Essiac's uses, and chronicles the experience of patients who have attained relief or regeneration from this remarkable herbal preparation.

Informative Little Book... December 1, 2009 Barbara Miller (Minnesota) This book is a good little book if you are looking for alternative healing modalities when it comes to cancer. This is a native herbal remedy and it gives a lot of history and recipe for it. This book came in time and in good shape. I was happy with this purchase. If you are looking for different alternatives... try this book.
A great little book about an amazing, proven, natural cancer therapy! November 10, 2009 Karl S. Keene This little book is an insightful account of the history and applications of the time-proven natural herbal remedy for cancer called Essiac. The author offers insight into the restoring and healing properties of Essiac and combines it with many encouraging testimonials. Most importantly, she includes the formula and usage instructions for the Essiac herbal remedy. This is a little book that should be offered to anyone battling cancer.
Great Guide for Essiac Tea March 19, 2009 Jayna Dinnyes (Fountain Valley, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This inexpensive little guide to the basics about this wonderful healing tea is all you really need to get started. The four herb original Indian medicine really works! We will probably drink it for the rest of our lives. Yes, it's that healing!

ESSIAC: A BEAUTIFUL HERBAL FORMULA + THE POLITICS OF MODERN MEDICINE November 11, 2008 Dr. Suzanne Lerner (San Francisco, CA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Western Medicine is a tremendous resource...Some parents would walk 2 days to get to a hospital for antibiotics for a sick child. What a miracle! Yet even there, it is easy to forget that even Penicillin is produced by Penicillium chrysogenum, a type of Fungi, i.e. it was developed by studying Nature.
We need to re-embrace nature-based solutions to health care, and we desperately need to protect our Rain Forests, where so many natural medicines are still waiting to be discovered. ( See the inspired genius PAUL STAMETS, Mycelium Running: How Mushrooms Can Help Save the World, for more on this topic)
What does this have to do with this book? Well, this book clearly and fairly discusses a fairly unknown herbal treatment, which has remarkably helped many, many cancer patients; it can even be taken together with conventional treatment. There is no silver bullet for all cancers, but everyone should know about this beautiful elegant herbal remedy!
ESSIAC TEA was used to treat Cancer patients by RENE CAISSE, a beautifully dedicated nurse in Canada who discovered that one of her patients had been cured of Breast Cancer, from this traditional Ojibwe, First Nation tonic. The story of RENE CAISSE, is extremely moving. She only treated people in late stage cancer, who had a note from their doctors, saying there was nothing more Western Medicine could do, AND SHE DID IT FOR FREE!
Still, she was hounded by the Government, and the Conventional Medical Establishment, even though some doctors, including President Kennedy's personal physician, honored and recognized her work.
Read this book if you or a loved one is dealing with Cancer. Read this book if you want to see a prime example of herbal natural treatments being suppressed instead of honored and embraced. We need all sorts of treatments to help us be well. May we honor the new age of Complimentary Medicine...honoring technological advancements, yes, but also Honoring the gifts of our Indigenous Cultures, and also HONORING the amazing gifts of Nature, which must be protected much more fiercely than we are doing now. PLEASE PROTECT THE RAIN FORESTS & MOTHER EARTH!...
BLESSINGS ON YOUR HEALING JOURNEY!
