5 out of 5 stars The Real Deal on having cancer.......   December 21, 2009
A. Bowers
Suzanne joined "the club" in early 2008. Unless you've had cancer, it's difficult to explain what you go through. We usually share amoung ourselves but it's difficult to share with people who haven't had the disease. This book is the result of Suzanne's honesty and candor, her willingness to share her fears and what she went through, and her skills at expressing herself. If you have had cancer you'll find yourself nodding, sometimes with a "been there-done that" smile, at the experiences she details. If you know someone who has cancer this book may help you understand how to be a better caregiver and/or friend. This book is a good "how to" manual for all potential cancer patients - and that is everyone. Finally - it's a good read. I gave copies to my daughter and daughter-in-law as a reference book and inspiration should, God forbid, they ever need one, and to keep available for a friend who might deal with cancer in the future. Pick up this book, read it and pass it along.

5 out of 5 stars Could not put it down   November 26, 2009
DR ZACCONE (OAK BROOK, IL USA)
I experienced each day of this journey along with our family but until the book publishing we could not understand the impact the book would have on us and the world of cancer patients and care givers as a whole....
This book lays bare the most inner thoughts, worries, concerns and experiences of over two years in a woman's fight for life from the time of diagnosis to the time of reconstruction surgery.
Suzanne has boldly exposed her nerve endings in just enough detail to keep you interested and informed.
This is not a downer or poor me journal but rather a celebration of life and a research project given to the better treatment of the cancer patient thru their eyes as well as the medical community.
The research done and questions asked are universal and should be read and understood by the wider population.
Suzanne, I am so proud of this work of yours along with the continued work you are doing in the betterment of cancer patients wherever they are.
Love,
Your Father

5 out of 5 stars An Incredible Journey   November 23, 2009
Deborah D. Conrad (Concord, NC)
This is one of the most honest books I have ever read. Fasten your seat belt as the author takes you on an incredible journey. Ms. Zaccone does not sugar-coat anything! You'll cry with her, laugh with her, experience her deepest pain, as well as her triumphant joy. For anyone who has cancer, or who loves someone with cancer, this is definitely the book to read.

5 out of 5 stars A Must Read   November 19, 2009
S. Zaccone (USA)
This is a must read book for anyone going through, or loves someone going through, the trials and tribulations of breast cancer. The book offers a glimpse of hope and humor during a very scary and difficult time. "A Random Interuption" not only provides comic relief, it serves as a valuable resource for breast cancer patients. A book written with the breast cancer patient in the forefront of the authors mind. "A Random Interuption", to entertain and educate. Don't miss it.

5 out of 5 stars Twinkle-eyed Education   November 19, 2009
Danielle D. Jerschefske (Midwest)
This book is for anyone looking for a twinkle-eyed perspective on breast cancer. It's full of love, laughs, tears, and critical medical knowledge. Perfect for those going through the trials of cancer and a great educational tool for their loved ones supporting them. Honest answers to questions about breast cancer and modern medicine can only be found in A Random Interruption.
