Product Description
The former fitness editor of Men’s Health magazine presents the ultimate no-excuses workout book for time-pressed men and women at every fitness level
For most people, the hardest hurdle to overcome in following a fitness regimen is simply finding the time to do it. But as this book shows, it is possible to burn fat, build muscle, and stay fit—no matter how much (or little) time one has! That’s the promise fitness expert Myatt Murphy makes in this fabulous new exercise guide—the first book that offers a wide range of workouts catered to any schedule.
Workouts are organized by how many days a week individuals have to exercise, and subdivided into 10-, 20-, 30-, 45-, and 60-minute exercise blocks. There are four variations on each of the above regimens—one for building lean muscle, one for weight loss, one for muscle power, and one that gives the best of all three. All in all, there are 120 workout choices, each specifically created to match the exerciser’s current goals! Murphy shows how to complete any workout in a time-efficient way and how to compensate for limited time with different exercises that will keep muscles challenged. More than 250 photographs illustrate the exercises, and sound nutritional tips round out this all-new approach to fitness—destined to be the workout bible for countless busy people.

I love this book October 26, 2009 Tobey@La Verne (Pomona, CA USA) I've bought many body building books and I love this one the most. Many books will show you how to work out but this book give you many routines that could fit your schedule.
Solid Stuff August 2, 2009 Bernard Chapin (CHICAGO! USA) This is a heckuva compendium for working out. Most of it I already knew, but the fact is--over the years--I've forgot a lot of the movements depicted. Personally, I always try to get in 60 minutes per work out, but I can see how this would really inspire folks who only have a half hour or less. Getting in all of the big exercises is definitely sound advice. The 48 "Anytime Exercises" won't surprise anyone as doing them will clearly create a symmetrical and fit body. When looking through the list and its corresponding pictures, the crunch on the inflatable ball was something I've never tried before but may start doing now. Lastly, the last chapter on diet was solid.
The PERFECT Book For My Fitness Goal May 20, 2009 Kyle Stevens (San Francisco, CA USA) This book is the one tool that changed my life. Prior to reading and applying this book I tried to be interested in fitness and followed so many other paths that just didn't work for me.
Then I bought and read "The Body You Want in the Time You Have" by Myatt Murphy and all that changed.
Two years ago I was a skinny guy who weighed 146 lbs. Now I am a well built guy weighing in at my target weight of 170 lbs.
I started my own program with a little "gym" I put together in my apartment. It consists of a pair of Bowflex Selectech adjustable Dumbells, an adjustable bench, stability ball, 10 lb ankle weights, yoga mat and chin up bar. But the most important tool was this book.
I was able to start light and slow for 20 or 30 minutes a day for the first few months and then adjust programs by following what is outlined in the book. All the exercises have alternative options which was crucial to me. I have been able to do one form or another of each required exercise in my apartment. And it actually shows you how to lift, etc.
Today, I recently started a new job where there is a brand new fitness center and for the first time in my life I am sticking to a program ,IN THE GYM WITH OTHER PEOPLE, because I am confident with the physique I have already built using this book. I average 3 days a week in the gym and still have the option to work out at home.
I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a simple plan to a beautiful body, especially if you have been unsuccessful in the past.

Great Book!!! August 28, 2007 G.G. (chicago, il United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have about 18 years of lifting under my belt and I would say this is a great book gives you everything you need to workout in the time that you have, and it has the principles built in so you dont have to know how many sets and reps for certain results. You want to getting leaner it tells you, want to bulk a little it tells you that I think its very practical and clear. Highly reccomend this book. Many books give you wacky principles and try to sell you I think this book is right on the money.
