this was purchased for me for my birthday because i am living a more healthy lifestyle now and thought this would help. my girlfriend and i have tried numerous recipes out of this book and only one so far has been worth the effort. everything else hase little to no taste or when the recipe is followed exactly it comes out as a disaster. (muffins for example) maybe i'm just messing everything up, but i wouldn't recommend this book to anyone.

I am am a person that is trying to gain mass. And this book helps there are a few things why I like it.

1. The recipes are extremely easy. It does not use some weird foods or ingredients you never heard of before. And ushally for me it would take about 30min to prep it and cook it. Not bad not a lot of work to do...which I like for the one thats always on the go..

2. Speaking of on the go. this book is broken down to every thing! eggs, beef, turkey, saldas, pasta, every thing! It tells you how many calories and carbs are in each meal. excllent for those who are keeping track of thier diet. I am a person that would stare at a piece of meat and guess howmany calories is in it. This book tells yoU!

Now the only thing I have question about this book is that. Is every meal you make just 1 person? Cause if thats the case it is an insane amount of food. 4 beef burgers? Which by the way are the BEST burgers I ever ate. But I added some flaxseeds with the wheat germ for more nutrition...

Overall pretty good book, its easy and most of the recipies are pretty good. Now people think I know how to cook!

Men's Health Muscle Chow was a very informative book that includes many recipes. The reason I gave it a four is because it was geared towards a more advanced audience and required quite a bit of foreknowledge on the subject of nutrition.

LOVE THIS BOOK!! Easy to follow with lots of great recipes. Breakfast was always the hardest for me to get what I needed until this book. I don't have to play catch up in the middle of the day anymore. Only downside is some of the food is expensive and hard to find; don't expect to be able to do all your shopping at Wal-Mart since they don't exactly cater to the healthy American.

This is a really good product that not only gives you some really great recipes, but also teaches you about how to eat and be a healthier, leaner you. Some of the knowledge in here is pretty remedial (such as how to bake a chicken breast) but there is a lot of advanced stuff and easy, quick recipes. I recommend it to anyone looking to bulk up, get ripped or just eat healthier.
