Product Description This title is a practical guide to some of the simplest yet most profound spiritual development exercises that Dr. Sha teaches on national television and in his teleclasses, workshops, and appearances. It presents Dr. Sha's instruction on how to allow the inner essence of our soul to express through our bodies, our voices, and in our communication with others - not only with our fellow human beings, but also with other souls, including our own soul. This deep soul wisdom can be used for healing, for raising one's physical energy level, to promote emotional and spiritual wellbeing, and literally to transform any aspect of life. The power of the soul is vast and untapped. Dr. Sha reveals many ancient secrets for accessing this power, while at the same time updating it for our modern world. Written in informal, conversational language that conveys the experience of listening to Dr. Sha in person, this title is very accessible, and carry the same dynamic, uplifting energy as seeing him in person.

Not for me November 29, 2008 Steve Burns (Nashville, TN) I got this book based on another reviewer's comparison to Eckhart Tolle, being an avid reader of Tolle's work I can say this book is nothing like it. It is strange, very strange, you have to disengage your rational mind to follow the author. I was going to put this book down after the first 50 pages but I was determined to finish hoping for a great insight from this book that made is a New York Times best seller. I was disappointed. The theme of the book is "Heal and transform your soul first; then healing and transformation of every aspect of life will follow". This happens through Soul talk, soul song, soul dance, and soul tapping. You allow your soul to express itself and you heal. It reminds me of the self hypnosis performed by the Pentecostals that allow them to speak in tongues. Dr. Sha's "GOLD" soul teachings on gratitude, obedience, loyalty, and devotion sound like teachings by a cult for control over peoples mind. Also the author claims to be chosen by the divine as a messenger. That is to much for my rational mind to process.
Slick marketing of spiritually themed entertainment November 27, 2008 Andrew Parodi (Oregon, United States) I hesitate to write this review because I can see how popular this book has been with many people. But as a member of the Vine Voice program I feel committed to holding up my end of the bargain, which is to review books I agreed to review. Fair enough? I've been a committed spiritual seeker for more than 15 years now, having searched through just about every path to which I've had access. Inevitably, this included the New Age and New Thought genres. In reading SOUL WISDOM I am reminded of the words of an employee of a New Thought bookstore I used to hang out in: "I don't read self-help because it all basically says the same thing...." To be fair, SOUL WISDOM probably wouldn't be categorized as "self-help" but perhaps New Thought aligned "spiritual growth." (I think it's fair to say that this book is within the New Thought realm when it is forwarded by Michael Beckwith, a man who used to speak at a major New Thought church with which I was affiliated until it went belly up in a multi-million-dollar scandal, the head minister being investigated by the state of Oregon. But I digress.) And I can paraphrase the words of the employee of the New Thought bookstore: up to a point, all New Thought books basically sound the same. What keeps the genre going seems to be this or that flavor-of-the-month gimmick, which will soon be abandoned for the next flavor of the month. I have come to term this type of work as "spiritually themed entertainment." At any rate, I'm probably going to regret publishing this review, but I am committed to upholding my agreement with the Vine Voice program. My recommendation is that if you are interested in the New Thought genre, go for the classics by the founders of the movement. It seems that anything published after the 1980s is just a quick fix gimmick that is forgotten as soon as Oprah has endorsed the latest marketing craze. (Hey, I hear a sequel to The Secret, in which Michael Beckwith appears, is due out soon!) Oh, and the accompanying CD with the "soul songs" is absolutely dreadful.
self healing November 26, 2008 Midnight_Rain (Oregon, USA) It is a wonderful book! I tried a couple of things it suggested and they seemed to help. I will continute on with practice and hopefully i will see better results in the near future. Stay positive!!
Life Changing November 22, 2008 B. Edwards If you want to change your life for the better here are very good and practical ways in doing so. You have to be dedicated in order to achieve success with this book.
Be Willing to Look November 21, 2008 John P. Morgan (Beautiful San Dimas, CA) Some of the reviews of this book are downright harsh. Someone even suggested it's "cult material". Anything, if improperly used can be considered cult fodder...I'm just waiting for someone to start a religion based on the Almighty Pickle. I really didn't get into the book so much as I got into the CD that accompanied this book. The music is absolutely an incredible way to start the day. I always start the day with some light stretches and a brief 20 minute meditation just to get me grounded and centered and I really like doing my stretch routine with the CD that came with this book. Someone once told me that everything contains some jewels of wisdom hidden within - we just have to be willing to look - and this book may not be your "cup of tea" but just enter into it with an open mind and you might find something that might be of great value. Well, if you excuse me I need to put on my green robe and light a dill scented candle, it's time for me to worship the Great Claussen. Afterall, he is the One True Pickle. :) Peace and Blessings, john, 'the Light Coach'
