Product Description
Mary Summer Rain has enthralled us with her many books of spiritual philosophy. She is the author of 23 books, beginning with classics such as Spirit Song, Phoenix Rising, Dreamwalker, and Phantoms Afoot. For countless readers she has opened the world of spirit and instilled a deep, abiding respect for the Earth Mother. We all dream, every night, but what do our dreams mean for our everyday, waking life? What are we to make of all these seemingly random symbols that pop up? Drawing from a tradition where the veil between worlds is thin, Mary Summer Rain has distilled from the symbols of dream language their very essence in short, concise definitions that reveal the spiritual message in even the most mundane of occurrences. She has created a single-volume reference guide to more than 20,000 symbols. It is a book to keep beside the bed, and refer to after waking from the dreams that occur every night of our lives. In Your Dreams: The Ultimate Dream Dictionary is the updated, revised, and expanded edition of Mary Summer Rain's Guide to Dream Symbols. It's a powerful interpretive tool to help us in our own transformative journeys. Now your journey to transformation can be as simple as falling asleep.

Disappointment. November 11, 2008 Kimberly P. Gustafson I decided to purchase this book because some of the reviews of this book were pretty good. Unfortunately, I regret to state, I should of listened to the negative reviews for this particular book. I found this book to be lacking. I have been studying a dreams for many a year, but everything I find is either to be exactly of the definition of a word (such as a dictionary) or to be completely useless. It's all in one's opinion though.

I have several dream interpretation books and this was was out of sorts with all of them, this is surely not from a Godly perspective
Vague and useless October 2, 2008 B. grasha (Upland, CA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book offers no help in interpreting a dream. For instance unders "sister" it says "points to a close female relationship." So, what does that mean if I dream of my sister? Under cat it says "(domestic/wild) pertains to one's quality or type of independence. See specific type such as cheetah, Chesire, calico, etc." What about a mongrel cat? Again how does this description help me define my dream's meaning? I am extremely disappointed in this book.
Missing Pages Found April 5, 2008 L. Ezzard (USA) Looking up a dream just happened to be a topic missing in the book. Not one but several consecutive pages are missing. How many other dreams will I not be able to find? I want to exchange it for another book but I haven't had the time to pick a substitute. I'm glad I didn't just settle for one book.
dream dictionary March 1, 2008 L. Santackas (providence,ri usa) Having the original book for years I was thrilled to see a more complete version, Absolutely the best book on dreams ever published. concise definitions that when put together make total sense. Recommended to anyone with an insight to dreams and what they really mean!
