I sent an email to the seller about the CD asking why it was not included and I never received a reply. I don't remember if the details entered by the seller initially mentioned the presence or absence of the CD but I was discouraged that the seller never emailed me back.

Many ACLS classes require this book and even ask you to do the pretest on the included CD. It has excellent flowchart reference cards for you to carry around. This is the only text you need and should buy. Thank you Amazon for the next day shipping option--you really came through for me in a pinch!

This book is now worthless. ACLS guidelines were updated in Spring 2006. Make sure that any study materials you buy were printed after then.

Thanks to the AHA, the book is written well, has up to date instructions and the latest algorhyhms. A very helpful C D is included that will assist you to review your knowledge of rhythms and medications. Very useful and easy to follow. A must for anyone recert'ing in ACLS.
