5 out of 5 stars Full of God's Grace, Love and Forgiveness   November 18, 2008
Pastor Carl

I am an evangelical pastor and just recently found this marvelous book. I have devoured it twice through already and can only wonder at the love, grace, and forgiveness found within its pages.

Some here have said that this book is not Christian but rather new ageish. Most of the negative comments about certain passages within the book have been taken completely out of context. Yes, God is more concerned with realtionships than He is rules and regulations. Jesus was not too fond of the religious people in his day and I fear that many today have become the modern day pharisees of long ago.

This book shows the depth, the height, the breadth of what God will do to reach out to the world and try to bring all to Him. I recommend this book to anyone who is searching for God, searching to see if Jesus is actually the likeness of God the Father fully. It is well written and will keep you reading from page one to the end. I could not put it down, and the nuggets of Spiritual and Scriptural truth found there will astound you and draw you in like a magnet. It will change your life, your attitude and your heart towards God and others.

2 out of 5 stars Gave Me a Headache   November 18, 2008
A. Harrington (Portland, Oregon USA)

I'm not a religious sort so all the dire warnings and bible quotes from those who are and have written stinker reviews about this book . . . well, *I* was in no danger. I read this because a couple of people recommended it and after looking at it, I'd hoped to get a better understanding of man's relationship with God. But, like everything else I've ever read on the subject, the basic dialogue and reasoning is just circular doublespeak and bureacratic. With its references to fractals and paradigms, I felt like I was in math class, and I don't know any more than I did when I started reading it. It was just, well, tiresome.

I do, however, congratulate the William P. Young for having a huge hit. Writing is a solitary occupation and it's nice when the work strikes a chord with readers.

1 out of 5 stars Don't waste your time   November 18, 2008

This book was immature reading at best. Very hoaky, non believable, and silly. I didn't even make it half way. Don't waste your time. Find something else. One star is too many.

1 out of 5 stars A rather silly and immature story.   November 17, 2008

I only made it half-way through this novel and had to stop. It was fine until "God" showed up, then things got REALLY CHEESY! I found the story silly and rather immature. Plus, I have a real issue with so many in our society having to anthropomorphize God in order to relate to and establish a spiritual relationship -- or even worse to try and dissect God and "his/her message". It's just not that complicated folks. Get over it.
