When I ordered the book, I did not expect the extent and breadth of information that it contains....I have learned a lot from the information and would recommend it to anyone.
Great Book June 3, 2008 Robert Venegas 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
This book is awesome. It is written in such a way that reading it is very enjoyable. Combine that with the fact that the way the information is presented also makes it very interesting and hard to put down. It makes the mysteries of our bodies very easy to understand, as well as explaining the factors that help or hurt. This book has the potential to change anyones life behaviors.
TOO LATE FOR ME - BUT NOT FOR YOU June 2, 2008 David Hollar (Maryland, USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
In 1989 I suffered a massive heart attack. The next two years were traumatic stays of days, weeks, and months, in the hospital suffering from V-tack, heart failure, and other life-threatening ailments. My ordeal began to end on March 31, 1991 when I was the joyful recipient of a heart transplant. It has changed everything. "YOU" may have helped me prevent the heart attack if I could have read it in 1988. It is a jewel for every human being today and I hope many will read and heed its lessons and instructions. Geat Read June 2, 2008 Kathy Davis (Cleveland, Ohio) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This was a very fun and informative book. I learned things about my body and its workings that I never knew. Reading this has led me to make smart choices especially about dieting. Who knew that eating a few nuts before a meal would help me not eat as much? It is written in language anyone can understand while still keeping the correct medical terms. I am reall looking forward to reading more in this series.
You, The Owner's Manual is all about me June 1, 2008 Kathleen Klatt (California USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
You, the Owner's manual is a must read for those of us who want to know the latest facts about health. I could read this book 20 times and still learn more interesting facts about how my body works and the latest about nutrition. But it is so much more. There are exercises, there's meal planing for a healthy life and little myth and factoid sections that answer a lot of your most asked questions I would highly recommend this book for all who want to keep their bodies running like a fine tuned machine. To be the best we can be for as long as we can.
