I was not sure what I was expecting out of this book so I had no preconceived notions when I bagan. I really enjoyed reading this. I am a girl so naturally I love fashion. I found this book to be for me. I cant afford half of her recomendations, but its a fun book. One can apply many of her suggestions into our world of reality paychecks. I have always thought she has such a great style. I only bought this because I am a huge fan, but that doesnt mean one would neccessarily have to be a fan of VB to get something out of the book. Plus she's much funnier than I would have thought.
Fun and Flirty Extra Half an Inch... August 13, 2008 L.L.D, (Thurso, Quebec, Canada) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a fun and light book to read. For anyone who's a little behind in the fashion know how to..., this book will help you. It's funny and witty and what you take away from it is that fashion is for everyone not matter what age, size or bank account you have.
Brilliance in a Book... July 27, 2008 Andrea C 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Love it. As a fashion lover myself i seriously believe Victoria has got it band on with this one... Loads of great tips and beautiful photography. Love this book. Another one of my favorite collection is How to Snag a Guy and Keep Him Hooked: 99 Ways to Make Him Ache for You Both books are a must read for women who love fashion and men!

Great tips, great photos, and Victoria relates to people who can't and don't always buy designer stuff. I love that she lists the best stores for products, which is always helpful - and they vary in price range, for affordability at every level. I'll use it as a reference guide for jeans and black tie affairs!
Not the book I thought It was going to be June 13, 2008 S. Znati (Bethesda, MD, USA) 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
I was under the impression that this book was going to be a guide to dressing yourself to look your best. I was dead wrong. It started out by saying that you don't have to have a lot of money to be classy and I agree whole-heartedly. But then she completely contradicts herself the rest of the book. She name-drops pretty much every high-end designer you could think of. It's a blatant advertisement for her denim line. It is also the most repetitive piece of "literature" I have ever read. Every subject she talks about she uses the same exact wording. She always tells you that you "this type of clothing (e.g. t-shirt) you have to spend money on if you want to look good." I could understand if she said this about one article of clothing, but she said it about ALL articles of clothing. She pretty much scrapped her statement at the beginning and the book turned out to be a way for her to show off how much money she has and how wonderful her husband is. Long story short: I read this on an airplane and I had a choice between this book and a skymall catalog. I chose the skymall catalog.
