amazing book.- MUST READ May 10, 2007 Carolina Oliva Arriagada (Valdivia,Chile) i first heard of this book through a review in el mercurio. it was positive, but i don't put much stock on stranger's reviews. then my friends-list went nuts over this book and it was in that moment i though i had to read it, even if it was just to see what the fuss was about. and the flist was right, again. the book is amazing. i started reading and was inmeadiately hooked. couldn't stopped. i started around 10pm. didn't stop til around 5 or 6am, when i was too tired to keep reading. kept reading in the afternoon after lunch. then i went to a birthday party and came home to keep reading. finished it around midnight. i simply couldn't put it down. the characters are great, bella is fantastic and i totally identify with her, and i love her voice in the book. the cullens are surrounded by mistery and intrigue and they are appealing, you want to know more. it has great supporting characters, like charlie and billy and jacob and all of bella's friend. i inmediately ran to get new moon and was excited to see old friends taking a bigger role. definitely a must read for any fans of vampires, buffy, the supernatural or simply of good books
Twilight May 10, 2007 SCashman (York Haven, PA) I read Twilight and New Moon in 2 days. They were both so good, I couldn't put them down. If I didn't have small children or a job, I would read them both in 1 sitting.

3.5 stars. This is a pretty good read for Young Adults but the older crowd perpare to do a few eye rolls and to watch Bella and Edward TALK you to death. Nothing truely happened until the last hundred pages. Other than that it was watch her go to school, watch her do her home work, watch her cook for her father. Heck, she may as well not had a father, he was NEVER around. I still can't wrap my brain around why people who are a hundred years old would be going to high school. I can understand Bella being all consumed with first love-that whole Romeo and Juliet extremism of I rather die than be without you, but it just doesn't make sense for someone of Edward's age to be doing this. And tell me again how the Cullen clan was running around Phoenix of all place and no one notice sparkling people running around? The whole hunt thing with James absolutely didn't make any sense and the whole chase was about talking me to death too. We should do this, no we should this, no we should do this. They ran and hid in a hotel for a day. That was their plan? James was definitely the smartest out of clan. And how again did she lose people who could track her scent? It didn't make sense. However, it was an easy read and again it's descent for Ms. Meyer's target audience.
Review of Twilight! May 9, 2007 Arielle Chriqui (Sydney Australia) In this first installment to stephanie meyers edward cullen series this novel allows an audience to become encapsulated within not only the characters but the plot as well! it is a brilliant novel, an epic Saga of Life, Death, Tears, love and laughter! i look forward to reading the next installment!
Page Turner May 9, 2007 Becks (North Carolina) I read the whole book in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. I think I am in love with Edward.
