Entertaining...September 5, 2008 A. rollins(Burlington, Vermont) Ok maybe it's not the most serious and informative book ever written, but it kept me entertained while informing me of the basics of what to expect with my wife's pregnancy. As if anything could actually prepare me....

This book had my husband chuckling all the way to the doctor's office with me! Quick and funny. Great for any new daddy who doesn't want to read the encyclopedia on what's going on with new mommy!
A pretty brief accountAugust 11, 2008 Canberra reader(Canberra, Australia) I was surprised by just how short this book was. I bought it for my husband and while he quite enjoyed it I think it was a bit lacking in any real information. I think it's more of a short comedy book than an actual guide to pregnancy.

My adorable husband is oh-so supportive of our first pregnancy but he definitely draws the line at reading the baby books. I got him this book based on one of the other recommendations and he has had a blast reading it. I would hear him laughing in the Dr's waiting room when he accompanied me on my OB visits and his presence was not required. He is already recommending it to friends that are "trying" and I'm sure it will get loaned out quite a bit. I have read it - it's a humorous look at pregnancy from the man's POV. I like the fact that it reinforces that we women may be a bit emotional and hormonal (so true) so give us exactly what we want and don't give us a hard time. :)

We are pregnant with our first child. I bought this book for my husband. He wants to be informed, wants to know what to expect, but does not want to be overwhelmed with each and every detail. He loved this book. Read it basically in a day. He said he would pass it on to any new fathers. It as small, simplistic and written from a guys perspective. Great!
