I use these workout gloves with my Turbo Jam workouts. Now I can't imagine working out without them. I have found I am punching more accurately and purposefully since the added weight helps you to feel where you are putting each punch. At the end of each workout I my arms are really tired but never sore. My only complaint is that the material around the fingers has already started to fray with only using them for the last month.

I like these gloves a lot. They fit my small hands and come with a zipper pouch filled with two one half pound weight sacks each. These are ONE POUND PER GLOVE not two as the description says. You get two one half packets of weights per glove.
Having said that, these are comfortable, adjustable, and a great boost to any workout. I don't use the pouch to carry keys or money but you could if you wanted. Great for women to really boost aerobic exercise.
They adjust to just about anyone's wrists and stay on securely. I only took a star off because I thought I was getting two pounds per glove when, in fact, I got one pound per. Note that the box does give the correct info. It's Amazon that doesn't.
By the way, those who just have to have the Turbo Jam/Beach Body gloves can get them on the beachbody website for $19.99 but they are nowhere near as well made as these.

This is a great product for the price. I am very pleased with them. One feature that I really like is the zipper pouch that you can put things in so you don't have to carry them. You can also take out one of the weight pouches until you build up your strength.

I wanted to buy the Turbo Jam gloves but the price was out of my range ($50.00???). I already have the videos just needed the gloves. I love these gloves. Just as the other reviews say you can lighten the gloves by removing one of the weights. And the price is right. Don't think twice. Buy them.
Athletic glovesApril 3, 2008 They seem to work very well. I bought them because I follow an exercise program on DVD and weighted gloves are used in the program. As they are the first gloves of this type that I have used I can't make any comparisons.
