Best exercise video ever May 20, 2006 Paloma (Norfolk, VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have used this video since 1990 and it's great. I'm not a dancer and it did take me several times to get the moves down. I still can't do them perfectly, but who cares as long as I'm getting the results. I found I could still eat normally and use this once a day and still loose weight. I've tried other Jane Fonda exercise videos and none compare to this one for fun while exercising. I really hope they release it on DVD.
Where's the DVD?! December 11, 2005 Elsa (Seattle, WA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I think this is Jane's best work out routine, but my living room no longer has a video tape player. I think a DVD would sell like hotcakes! I miss this routine!
Great time warp workout March 9, 2005 J. England (Tucson, AZ) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
If you're still stuck in the 80's (like me) you'll like the style of this video--neon, Madonna-inspired outfits, rhinestone appliques, Boy Geroge hats. Apparently it was released in 1993, but it really looks like it was filmed in 1984 or 85. Anyway, I was intimidated by all the reviews that described this as a dancy video, so I bought it, tried it once, then let it sit for 3 months before trying again. After just 2 tries I learned all the moves and began having fun with this video. Yes, it's more of a dance routine than an athletic workout, but I needed that variety. There are a series of segments, some more challenging than others, and they remind you when to pick it up and push yourself in an interval. So at the end you're definitely sweating and feelin' good. The moves are repeated alot, which makes it a bit easier to catch onto, but it's not so repetitive that it becomes boring. The music is upbeat, the group is lively, and Jane Fonda (despite the weird black lace bodysuit and ankle boots?!?) really delivers.
THE BEST TAPE EVER July 16, 2004 J. NELSON (phila, pa United States) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I LOVE this workout tape. I am not a huge fan of cardio AT ALL but this tape i can do 3 times a week thru the whole 60 minutes and im never bored.Yes it is dancey and will require some coordination which is something to think about if you have 2 left feet. I took dance class for 10 years so thats probly why it seemed to come so easy to me. I love Jane and her 2 co instructors are GREAT. They really keep me motivated. If you are like me and dont really like cardio, try this tape. It doesnt feel like work though your heartrate will get up there. It can be low or hi impact depedning on how much u wanna move. Great tape.
