This is a very cute movie. The acting and the story line is OK. With several gorgeous guys!!!
Rent it October 18, 2001 Christine T. Sarnie (Brockton, MA United States) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is not worth the money to buy. Good movie to see once but not to own. It was a little funny and Jennifer Esposito is pretty as ever but not a keeper. Ending is predictable.
disappointed October 14, 2001 Patrick (Wisconsin, USA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This movie was a bit of a let down to me. The guy in this is a total jerk. His fiance is willing to do just about anything for him but he is not willing to do ANYTHING for her. He gets her to go out with a girl and then gets jealous. She finally gets him to go out with a guy and he's extremely rude to the guy the whole time. This movie could have been a lot better if it had better writers.
Where's the fantasy? August 31, 2001 Terran (Sunny CA USA) 7 out of 12 found this review helpful
This is a film about expectations and fantasies, yet it ends up not fulfilling the viewer's expectations or the participants' fantasies. Basically a film with a lot of talk and no action. It starts off promising, and you think you're getting somewhere, and then you want to start fast-forwarding to the good stuff, because you figure that's what's coming up - but it doesn't. The movie just lies there. The characters go nowhere, though are supposedly more seasoned and mature than when they started off. But the viewer is left feeling they were promised cordon bleu and ended up being served a flat pancake. The romance you wanted never quite happens, and the plot twists are never twisted enough you can't see it coming before the characters do. No surprises, except the film is such a disappointment in the characters' relationships. What is supposed to be cute only ends up being trite. What should be charming, falls flat. A few attractive actors are ill-used. This really needed to be a more exploitive story-line.
