I love the Hungry Girl: Recipes and Survival Strategies for Guilt Free Eating in the Real World. It is a great tool if you are a member of Weight Watchers. Lisa Lillien is a hip, trendy woman whom many women can relate to in today's world that shows that you can watch what you eat but still enjoy food. I can't wait for her next recipe book to come out.
Great Cookbook, I love Hungry Girl!September 14, 2008 J. McBride I love Hungry Girl's emails and the cookbook lives up to my expectations. There are tons of great recipes, tips, etc.
Simply FABULOUSSeptember 8, 2008 Margaret M. Flynn(St Louis) REAL recipes for REAL people. No unspellable, unobtainable ingredients. A MUST HAVE for anyone on Weight Watchers as the points values for the recipes are easy to figure and are also available on her website.
Good ideasSeptember 8, 2008 Nicole J. Munar(Seattle, WA) The Hungry Girl book is a conglomerate of all the Hungry Girl newletters that they send out daily. I am a subscriber and so I was very happy to have all of their good ideas together in one book. If you are a subscriber, there is nothing in this book that is different from their emails. The recipes are good, and for someone who is on a diet, they have some good ideas for cutting calories. Some of the ideas I refuse to do, like use nonfat cheese, but other than that, it's great for someone looking to cut calories.
