A wealth of info for your health November 9, 2008 C. Boland (PA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
We keep this book on the coffee table and during commercials read through it. I've already sent this book and the childrens version to family as gifts. Everyone loves this book and I plan on buying more. They are the best little books I've ever bought.
Educational book November 9, 2008 Angie Marti (USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought the book for my son's birthday who is in College. I am always insisting him that he should eat better, so I though the book could help him. He really liked the book. The book taught him what are the best options that he has. This is really important for students that usually eat pizzas, hamburgers and burritos.
Helped me make healthy choices November 2, 2008 M. Ballade (Washington, DC United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
After years of eating poorly I lost 20lbs by making healthier choices. I was able to use this book to help me continue to make healthy choices. I shared it with my co-workers and they were very happy to learn that they can make good eating choices also.
Great fun, good information, easy to read -- I loved it October 31, 2008 Nancy B. Van Niel (New Jersey) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After seeing this good-looking author on the Today Show (where has he gone to lately?) several times and being impressed with his presentation and style, I picked up his book, Eat This Not That. It's really great -- who would know that chicken sandwiches can be so BAD for you and that the Blooming Onion is a sure road to early death? Great illustrations/photos -- easy to "digest" information. And yes, you can make healthy or at least healthier choices in chain and fast food restaurants. Made me much more aware of the hidden calories, and as he writes, the food industry doesn't exist to make healthy meals but to sell us cheap, delicious food that will keep us coming back for more -- good, bad, or worse!
great info to have handy October 31, 2008 S. Murphy (CHESAPEAKE,VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this book is awesome, i'll keep it in the car so when we decide to go eat somewhere i'll take it in and take a look at what i shall eat before it is too late and i gain 20 pounds just because i choose the wrong meal thinking it was the healthier one. i was surprised about how many wrong choices i made this far before i got this book, i love it!
