Do not take this book seriously. May 20, 2008 Mrs.Chill (Rockville, MD United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book is a fun read only. Do not take this book too seriously. If you are interested in losing weight, look elsewhere. However, there are a couple of recipies in the back that were pretty tasty.
Good Read, Ok Advice May 9, 2008 D. Selstead 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
it was easy and fun to read and had a lot of good advice. the only draw back is that i'm not as rich as the stars and can not do a lot of the things they can do or pay for. main thing is getting more fiber and i have done that. it has a lot of little changes you can do and does offer some couragement to get going but it's just hard if you don't have money to put in to it. i am glad i got it and i'll read it again and may pass it onto family.
Black Book of Hollywood Diet Secrets May 3, 2008 Susan Tenorio (Austin , Texas) I like the fact that they personally asked a bunch of fitness people their advise on how to stay trim or cut extra corners on weight loss. Also, the fact that a lot of interesting movie stars have the same concerns as us regular folk, is pretty cool.
HOLLYWOOD DIET SECRETS April 1, 2008 Jessica Baldizon (South Orange County , CA USA) This book was fabulous. I really took the advice into my own hands and made my own diet and excercise that works for me. I also have been working out every day religiously...and eating way better than ever before. I suggest that if you are really looking for some advice to lose weight or to stay fit, than please read this book. It really works, and its hilarious.
Good read. Helps keep you centered. No miracles promised. March 19, 2008 SexySmartGal (Mentor, OH USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Sorry if you're looking to drop weight instantly by doing some amazing trick. Still the usual, eat less, exercise cardio and strength training, and walking or running additionally. There are a few other fun tips, and yeah, I liked hearing that the georgous starlets and models have to work at it. When you hear some say, "I eat whatever I want", and you want to spit on them... well, this book makes it seem that just isn't the case. They work their tushies off. Again, some good realistic tricks offered, and nothing trying to make you starve yourself. That's an entirely different book. But, caloric concern is addressed. Calories do add the weight. Made me think, if I want to be amazingly thin, that's going to take a lot of exercise, a lot of discipline, not much bad food - if any, and again a lot of work. OR I can accept being me, and doing a normal amount of things to keep healthy, since I'm not likely to become famous and in the tabloids any day soon. And have fun. I sure do appreciate how hard some gals work for their looks. To be super, you have to be super...
