I started HealthStatus.com 8 years ago as a showcase for our Health Risk Assessments and Health Calculators.  Our primary goal was to sell these products to big portals and other Internet wannabes, then the tech sector kind of died in 2000 and 2001.  We kept going, adding more tools and capabilities and then everyone started to realize the best way to reduce health costs was to not get sick.  Now everyone wants a health assessment, hospitals, insurance, portals, pharmacueticals and you the health consumer.  So our little site designed to help us get listed in the Yahoo! Directory back in the day, has continued to grow and grow.  We read everyday about a new big player getting ready to launch a health "superportal", (or we get a phone call asking if they can license our assessments and calculators), now I need some help to fend off the big boys. 

What I need:

• Your feedback - tell me what you like and what you wish we did differently.  Real stuff, use examples.
• Your energy - join the forums and post some messages, comment on a blog entry.  Want to be a moderator? 
• Your voice - spread the word, we have good stuff here, share our site with a friend, neighbor, co-worker, small group.
• Your consideration - HealthStatus is a self-funded, privately held company, we are the Mom & Pop store on the corner.  No big angel investors or venture capital firms backing us.  We need your support to attract and keep sponsors.

Without you, there is no point in having HealthStatus.com.  With you we can compete with any health site on the Internet.
