Book Review: The Survivors Club

Book Review: The Survivors Club by Ben Sherwood

Who are the people that triumph over disasters, devastating health issues, or horrific war experiences? This book is a study of those people who survive and thrive despite the circumstances they find themselves in. The author identifies traits of survivors, retells their stories and interviews the survivors whenever possible.

I found this book fascinating and humbling. I admired these “survivors/thrivers” more than I can say. If you are at all interested in the way people tick, you too will find this book a fascinating read. Ben Sherwood summarizes the coping traits survivors have in common.

The author’s story telling style is engaging and you will find this book easy to read. Towards the back of the book is a website you can visit to see what “survivor personality traits” you may have and explanations for what those personality traits mean. You can discover your “Survivor Profile” and you “Survivor IQ”. I do recommend you take the time to read the book but you may also want to visit www.TheSurvivorsClub.org for more information.
