4 Stars loads of fun and good for you too! I recently purchased the Wii system- specifically to run Wii Fit. Both have proved more than satisfactory. Wii Fit has done a great job so far (I’ve only had it for about a month) in toning my legs and thighs. And the balance games are fun. Just wish there were more variations of the step aerobics and balance games. Love the boxing too! It’s a good basic system- look forward to the upgrade. Wii Sports came with the Wii system, and I love the bowling!
5 Stars Not great graphics but lots of fun The graphics on the WII games are not up to the standard of the other newer video games (XBOX, Playstation, etc.) but for the interactive games and workouts it is quite sufficient. Each motion is picked up great and it feels like you are getting as good a workout as if playing the real sports. Additional games purchased for use with the WII are just as realistic.
The best part is you can have fun playing video games while moving your body at the same time. Parents don’t have to feel so bad about their kids playing the video games. It also provides great entertainment for the spectators. Watching someone "pretend" to hit a ball or punch someone in the face when there is not the real thing in front of them is very funny!!
5 Stars Fun for all Ages Graphics are great, so are the games. Love it – this is a game for all ages.
5 Stars Wii review I purchased the Wii for my 7 year old daughter. I was not expecting to play with the Wii, but we both enjoy playing all the games the Wii has to offer. The Wii is for all ages.
1 Star Happy Birthday – NOT Got a new Wii for my birthday today – inserted disc – "error, eject disc, power down, see manual". Rinse and repeat. All discs.
So within an hour of opening I have a trouble ticket and am sending the out-of-the-box product back for repair or replacement.
I was really looking forward to this because several people I know have a Wii and I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed playing the sports games.
Not a good start. I hope they replace, rather than repair it.
