It reduces drag, and wear. Three simple steps: 1) Unplug the treadmill and apply one packet of the lubricant to the foam on one side of applicator wand. 2) Insert wand between belt and board, lubricating side facing down, and slide back and forth – the full length of the bed platform. 3) Remove wand and replace it into the plastic sleeve to retain moisture.
