I thought I was consuming to little calories but I kept gaining weight this was six years ago. I kept an honest food diary, I wrote everything down. Then I calculated the calories it still didn’t make sense. Then I looked at the serving sizes suggested on the labels and I was eating double the amount. Once I started measuring and only eating a serving of a food: a cup of cooked rice or half a chicken breast I started to lose weight. Protein helps. I lost 80 pounds in less than 3 years you can do it. Don’t feel bad or make excuses. Feeling bad or being in denial is no help to you. Good luck.

Calories aren't as important as limiting carbs for weight loss. look up sam feltham experiment... restricting carbs and some kind of fasting is the best way to lose fat. You're body won't burn fat as long as there is a significant supply of glycogen in the liver. Hope this helps

Absolutely walking indoors works to burn calories. Anytime you increase your activity level and maintain or decrease the calories you consume you should lose weight.

drink lots of water like 1 glass an hour. If you don’t then weigh loss won’t happen. Also pcos or hormonal issues have to be treated. Stop eating rice and roti, high calorie sweets and dairy for 4 weeks. Eat all veggies, yogurt ,pulses, muttonand fish. Avoid eating chicken,it’s full of steroids and it becomes impossible to lose weight.

Iam 21 year old female and i weigh 78kg and workoutout 6times \week (30min aprox), apart from working out i don't do anything, still iam confused what is my activity level, iam little active or moderately active! Now to loose weight iam eating 1200 calories, i don't know how many calories i need to loose weight

You may not be getting the proper nutrients or may have some other metabolic health issue like a thyroid problem. Thyroid issues are common for women. Your best bet if you are having problems losing weight is to talk to a doctor and also speak with a nutritionist to discuss your diet. Though calories and portion control are important for losing weight, you really cannot ignore exercise to ensure good muscle quality and bone strength. If you seem to not be losing weight even though you are eating much less calories than needed then it may be due to your calorie burning. You need to burn more calories than you take in. Also, your food intake. Are you eating healthy foods and getting enough of your recommended nutrition?
