Hair removal: How to wax

This video is about how to wax at home. Waxing at home is a cheaper way to afford hair removal. Dermatologists recommend keeping you hair one fourth to three fourths of an inch long. It is not recommended to use beauty products containing retinol several days prior to waxing your face because it could remove skin as well as the hair. Some people reduce the pain by taking ibuprofen or by applying cold compresses to the area that will be waxed up to 30 minutes before. Wash and dry your skin before waxing. Follow the directions of your wax kit and test the temperature to make sure you don’t burn yourself. Spread the wax in the same direction of hair growth. Press firmly down on the cloth strip and remove it from the opposite direction of hair growth. Be careful not to wax sunburned areas.

Key Points of Video:

  • 1Affordable hair removal
  • 2Optimal hair length 1/4 to 3/4 inches long
  • 3Always check wax temperature before applying
