Breathe-In THIS To Make You A Fit & Fabulous Bride

Getting ‘wedding dress ready’ and a Bride Fit body is not only about your nutrition and fitness.   I’m not minimizing the fact that what you are eating and your fitness program play a tremendous part your Bride Fit goals, but I want to make you aware of other very important factors such as sleep, stress management, healthy relationships, and your environment.   Let’s discuss the air you breathe in your home.   You may be unknowingly exposing yourself to chemicals or toxins that disrupt your endocrine system.

Your endocrine system is a collection of glands that produce hormones that regulate you metabolism, growth and development, tissue function, sexual function, reproduction, sleep and mood.

This is no joke ladies, what you breathe affects your fat release, reproduction and may explain the occasional “bridezilla mood.”   Imagine after all the efforts you have made and habits you created to support a healthy & happy Bride Fit body & mind, being sabotaged because of chemicals in cleaners, air fresheners, detergents and soaps.

The chemical TRICLOSAN is an active ingredient in countless products used in homes.   It’s found in anti-bacterial soaps, hand sanitizers and personal care products.   Even low amounts are linked to thyroid disruption.   If you want to learn more about the hidden chemicals and toxins in your home and personal care products check out the Environmental Working Group.   This is a great resource that will help you make informed decisions on the best products to use in your home and on your body. Thrive market is an on-line store that sells non-toxic cleaners and products at a discount.

I’ve personally replaced candles and plug in air fresheners that emit toxic chemicals in the air with pure essential oils. Pure essential oils are a powerful tool that brings your health to a higher level.   You can access the great powers of essential oils by diffusing, topically applying and adding to foods and drinks you consume.   As I’m writing this blog I have a diffuser next to me dispersing a pure essential oil called Highest Potential, which supports inspiration and uplifts your mood.   I added 2 drops of Peppermint essential oil to my ice coffee, which supports healthy digestion, and the peppermint also supports mental focus.   Essential oils have many functions and benefits such as:

  • Inspire a positive mood state
  • Enhance physical wellness
  • Enhance spiritual awareness
  • Purify your home
  • Improve your beauty routine

One on my favorite essential oils is lavender.   There are multiple benefits to lavender and an absolute must in your home!   Lavender has been shown to have therapeutic benefits with insomnia, anxiety and depression, skin burns, physical pain and impressive results with migraine headaches. This is where I get my pure essential oils and favorite non-toxic cleaners.   There are wide ranges of essential oils on the market and like most things, not all are made equal.   Many brands are filled with artificial fragrances and chemical fillers that may be harmful to your health.

Since quality sleep and stress management are directly linked to your ability to lose fat then diffusing lavender pure essential oils next to your bed and dapping on your wrists and neck is worth an experiment!   To learn more about how to get Bride Fit for your big day JOIN my on-line program and get the roadmap to getting ‘wedding dress ready’ and all the secrets to living ‘happily & healthily ever after!’!
