Psalm 119:28 says that, “My soul is weary; strengthen me Lord according to Your Word.“
So how do you do on most Monday mornings?
I’m sure that like me sometimes you have great weekends. And I don’t know about you- but for me, often times after those weekends with family, church, and hanging out with friends, Monday mornings can be really tough.
Sometimes I feel “run down” and tired. And you know it can be quite challenging to get motivated to get going in the new work week.
I am sure that you can relate with me on that. Maybe even as you are reading this message you are having a hard time getting engaged in your work?
Well listen again to today’s verse. It gives you the cure.
It says “My soul is weary; strengthen me according to your word.”
It tells us that the Lord will strengthen us according to the Bible, His Word. So I want to encourage you to do something right now. Pull out your Bible- Take just a few minutes and go to God’s Word for strength, peace, comfort, and encouragement. Allow His promises to minister to you.
He has the cure waiting- all you have to do is go to Him.
When you do this, you will be applying The Truth@Work.
Application Questions:
- 1What does this message say to you?
- 2How often do you turn to scripture for encouragement?
- 3What scriptures offer encouragement, peace, comfort, & strength for you?
