The Gospel of Luke tells us that if a person can be trusted with a little, he or she can be trusted with much. The reverse is also true — if someone cannot be trusted with a little, due to poor integrity or lack of discipline, he or she will not be able to handle more successfully. Many lottery winners go bankrupt after winning their millions because they did not have good financial management skills before they won their money. How do you treat the resources you currently have? Do you take care of your house, your car, and your career? Are you a good steward of the resources you have now, while you try to attain more? In our personal and professional lives, treat the little things well, and you will be able to manage bigger things.
